Mathias Guedetti, in his thirties, is a sensitive and extravagant artist. Except his sculptures, he only has eyes for his grandmother, Paola.

But since her memory has declined, she has been living in a retirement home, under her brother's tutelage, the Minister Jean-Christophe Guidetti, much more busy extricating himself from his political scandals, than thinking about the well-being of his mother.

One night, Mathias decides, against all odds, to help Poala escape from the retirement home to return home in Corsica...
